Physiotherapy vs Exercise Physiology – What’s the Difference?
Physiotherapists focus on diagnosing and treating injuries, managing pain and restoring movement through manual therapy and structured rehabilitation.
Exercise Physiologists specialise in long-term exercise prescription for chronic conditions, general health improvement and functional capacity development.
In many cases, the two services complement each other, working together to provide comprehensive care tailored to your stage of recovery and health goals.
